Junior Program
SUMMER TENNIS KICK-OFF CAMP
This tennis camp officially commences the start of our junior summer tennis program . This camp will help young players improve their tennis game and give them a chance to exercise and have fun with their tennis friends! Tennis fundamentals will be emphasized. Participants will engage in drills, games, point play, strategy, and will also be taught scoring and sportsmanship. Camps run 6/6/12 to 6/8/12 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm (Tennis from 12:00pm-2:30pm daily,pizza, beverage, and supervised swim included from 2:30pm-4:00pm). Boys and Girls are welcome!
Ages 7-14 Cost is $120
MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS TENNIS TUNE-UP CAMP
This camp is for middle and high school girls getting ready for their school tennis season. This is a competitive camp intended to help these players sharpen their game, gain a competitive edge, and boost their confidence as they head into try-outs and their regular season. Stroke critique, point play, and game strategy will be emphasized. Camp tuns 7/23/12-7/27/12 with tennis from 1:00pm-3:00pm
Girls Grades 7-12 Cost is $100
ROOKIES
This class promotes early exposure to tennis, helps players to develop eye/hand coordination, and offers an opportunity for social interaction for the little ones. Our rookies class features lots of games and lots of fun for little ones
5-6 years of age.
BEGINNER
This class continues to emphasize instruction on the basics of ground-strokes, net-game, and also introduces the serve. Our advanced beginner class makes learning tennis fun for
1st-3rd grade.
YOUNG GUNS
This class continues to help players develop sound form on all the strokes. The drills are more complex and there will be more hitting on the move with the ground strokes being taken from the baseline. Players will also work on the court positioning, point play, and strategy. Our young guns class will be competitive but fun for
4th-7th grade.
JUNIOR ELITE
This class enables players to sharpen their form and teaches players to hit the ball with even more spin, pace, and accuracy. Our junior elite class is intended to further prepare players seeking to play on the school tennis teams for
8th-12th grade.
